Why Montessori?

Montessori is a method of teaching and educating children from infancy through high school.  This was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori (August 31, 1870 -May 6, 1952) who was the first female physician in Italy.  The first "Casa Dei Bambini" for children ages 3-6 opened in slums of Rome in 1970.  As these children continued to work and outperform their middle class peers on school entrance exams, this method of education quickly drew attention in Italy and abroad.
Dr. Montessori was a scientist who developed her method over 50 years observing thousands of children. In keeping with her proven method, our goal is to continue maximizing your child's success using the Montessori way.
